Morran’s passing is so sad, but that book is so beautiful.
I would love to live in that home, it’s so gorgeous! :)
Great links this week!
Great links, as always!!!
love the badass quotes.
current favourite: “Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.” ~ Audre Lorde
Interesting stuff, as ever! But I have to say I always feel a bit surprised/perplexed to see really thoughtful, intelligent bloggers paying attention Chris Guillebeau. Am I missing something? His ‘art of non-conformity’ seems to conform totally to a long tradition of rich kids doing whatever the hell they like with scant regard for the broader social/environmental context and consequences. I just don’t get it. But you should *definitely* build that little castle for your nephew!

Thanks, as always, for the great links!
great links, susannah!
can’t wait to show my kids the miguel andara video…they will be in awe.
love the badass quotes…
I like what Chris Guillebeau says about living purposefully. I can certainly take that reminder from him — I’ll take a good lesson from anywhere I can! So thanks for the link, Susannah. I’m looking forward to keeping that wisdom in mind when Photo Meditations starts (can’t wait!). I loved Unravelling (winter 2010) — can’t wait to see the book either. You sure do create great stuff….
