Oh that Meg Worden piece. YES. As you know, I have a child whose life started off being pretty damn shitty and she knows it. There is no way I can look at a 10 year old whose birthparents left her on a step in the night and say,’Life is beautiful and you get what you attract’ etc etc. Not to say I’m not a huge fan of optimism, compassion and hope – they’re my guys – but some days I have to say to her,’Yeah it sucks. Sometimes the best we can do is be kind to each other.’ Thanks for sharing this. x
