Something for the weekend

roses

Hello, how’ve you been? I’m gently easing back into blogging with a SFTW (I’ve missed doing these). I’m also gently easing back into my normal life after getting back from the retreat last Sunday — I’ll share more about what went down in a post next week (hint: it blew my socks off :) ….. For now, here’s something for your weekend. Ahh, feels good to be back xo

Love that wisdom from Justine…and oh yeah, I always rock out in my car (often to the chagrin of my sons! which makes it even more worthwhile!).

In the video, the guy with the suit and yeallow tie looks weirdly like Shoshanna in Girls, don’t you think?

Welcome back and I have missed your SFTW. I love the therapy link and I cannot agree with you more. Therapy is the best gift I have ever given to myself. I had to laugh at the “how long do I need to go” question. I have been seeing my therapist for over 11 years (twice a week, yes I did have a unusual childhood but that is another story) and every time I go I think “I better now, things are good, maybe I am done” and every time I leave I uncover or learn more. It just plain helps. Going to therapy has allowed me to become an adult.
    Thanks again and welcome back.

Hi Susannah, so glad that you are back. When I read that you were going away , I thought it would be months before you come back and felt sad. I have always checked your blog for the weekend readings and also your other posts. I have never commented here but now I try to express myself more often as I realised that our words are very powerful (both positive and negative words). Can’t wait to share your experience of the retreat.
