Something for the weekend

This is the 100th Something for the weekend, and wouldn’t you know it, I’ve barely been online this week — more on that soon. But that hasn’t stopped me finding a few links…

30 ways to stop and smell the roses

And finally, Bookshelfies (brilliant!)

Thanks for writing ‘Something for the Weekend’ for so long. I always really enjoy them but can imagine they’re pretty time consuming for you.

Oh Susannah what lovely links! I’ve just posted some luscious links on my blog too – snap! Loving 30 ways to stop and smell the roses, particularly #24 – throw something out or give it away. I’m in love with decluttering and liberating myself of things I don’t want or need, especially when someone else can enjoy them :)

I am a little bit in love with and obsessed with Iceland at the moment, I’ve been listening to Samuel Jon Samuelsson and his big band – it’s so amazing and makes me DANCE!

Bookshelfies is ACE too, I might contribute my tiny bookshelf to the list.

    Thanks for the fresh ideas.

I can’t get enough of Asgéir either! just dreamy, I put the same links in my blogpost last week as well! just got home from Iceland, and can’t figure out how to purchase DÝRÐ Í DAUÐAÞÖGN from the US. Kicking myself for not buying a copy there… Making an Icelandic 8tracks playlist for my blog, inspired by your playlists of the past. Thanks for the idea!
